What is it?
A programme of physical activities aimed at improving visual and muscular skills (similar to, but not instead of, Occupational Therapy).

We have run this programme very successfully for many years and Edu-Media even produced a video to share with other schools called “Balls, Beams and Trampolines”.

The main focus areas are:
• Balance;
• Orientation in space;
• Crossing of the mid-line;
• Eye muscle development (tracking);
• Hand-eye coordination and
• Developing postural muscles (upper body)

Who benefits?
All our boys and girls take part. Our children improve their perceptual skills, which impact on their ability to learn and our educators can detect problem areas early.

When and how?
Visual Motor takes place every Thursday in the Second & Third Terms only.
